This cantata is based on the history of Llewellyn the Last Prince of Wales & his wife Eleanor de Montfort: songs that tell their story are interspersed with settings of texts from the Latin Requiem Mass, including the famous 'Benedictus' movement, here in its original form for soprano, baritone & SATB choir. This movement is also available separately in choir-only arrangements [SATB, TTBB, SSAA] & in an arrangement for vocal duet + piano without choir. Curiad, 2005. 1897664745.
