Benjamin Britten's "Temporal Variations" for Oboe + piano accompaniment was first performed 15/12/36 at the Wigmore Hall under the different name of Temporal Suite . Although Britten was pleased with the work, no further performance took place in his lifetime, & Faber only published this posthumously in 1980, ed. Colin Matthews. Duration c.15 mins. Set for DipABRSM & FTCL diplomas (complete). NB reduced from RRP of £9.99, slightly rubbed cover: contents unaffected.
