These unaccompanied studies by James Rae aim to familiarise bassoonists with a variety of rhythmic styles at an elementary to intermediate level. By working through them bassoonists will develop positive, energetic playing, & feel confident when they encounter such musical styles in band & ensemble situations. Reedimensions, 2006.
