This work by Felix Mendelssohn is his only known original composition for flute, c. Grade 4 standard: he composed it for flute solo, & the piano accompaniment was added after Mendelssohn's death by Berthold Tours for its first publication in the 1890s. It is here reprinted for the first time since, by Schott, 2011, ed. Andras Adorjan.
