Intermezzo for flute + piano accompaniment, published in 1894, was the 3rd piece Edward German wrote for eminent flautist Frederick Griffith, a friend from student days at the Royal Academy of Music. Set for ABRSM Examination 2022 onwards Flute Grade 7 List B.
