Carl Phillipp Stamitz's Bassoon Concerto in C is here realised for bassoon & piano accompaniment by Ondrej Šindelár in this 2020 Bärenreiter Urtext edition, the first modern printing. It was last published by Breitkopf & Härtel between 1782-4, & has never been reissued since. Now Šindelár, the bassoonist of the Czech Philharmonic, has unearthed the historic parts of this work as well as other unique sources to use in this edition, which also offers a detailed Critical Commentary in English & German.
