'Mein erstes Konzert' [My First Concert] contains 22 easy pieces for lessons, first recitals or pupils' competitions arranged by Peter Mohrs for violin + piano accompaniment. This volume takes the player on a musical journey through 5 eras from the Renaissance via the Baroque, Classical and Romantic eras to contemporary music - pieces in the style of pop music, jazz, spiritual, bossa nova and tango have been specially composed for this volume. All pieces are in the first position and can be played in the four fingering patterns (two compositions which require position playing have an easier alternative added). Learning to master the pieces is made easier by the accompanying CD which provides the opportunity to listen to & get familiar with the pieces beforehand & gain first experiences of ensemble playing with the help of the separately recorded piano accompaniments.

Set for ABRSM Examinations 2024 onwards Violin Grade 2 (List A: Finger) & Grade 3 (List B: Heller).
