Britten - Two Insect Pieces for oboe + piano

Description

These two pieces for oboe + piano accompaniment were written by Britten in 1935 for the oboist Sylvia Spencer; the first public performances did not take place until 1979, when they were performed by Janet Craxton & Margot Wright as part of a memorial concert for Sylvia Spencer. Set for Trinity Examination 2022 onwards Oboe Grade 7 (Group A: either piece) & ATCL.
