Arnold - Concerto for Oboe




Malcolm Arnold's Concerto for Oboe and Strings, op.39, was commissioned by Leon Goossens (to whom it is dedicated) & completed in London during August 1952: he first performed it at the Royal Festival Hall on 26/6/53 in the 20th anniversary concert of the Boyd Neel Orchestra. Reduction for oboe + piano accompaniment. Set for DipABRSM (1st & 2nd mvts) & FTCL (complete)
